INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

At Dnamo FC, our mission has always been clear: to develop the best talent in San Francisco and prepare players to compete at the highest levels of the game.

Team training builds chemistry, tactical understanding, and competitive identity. It remains the foundation of our development model.  However, meaningful individual growth often requires additional structure, accountability, detailed film analysis, and long-term planning.

ABOUT IDP

We are proud to officially launch the Dnamo FC Individual Development Program (IDP), an optional high-performance pathway designed for ambitious players who want a more personalized development structure.

After a successful pilot within our Goalkeeper Academy, we are now expanding this opportunity club-wide beginning this month.  Goalkeepers will remain in their own IDP setup with this new opportunity being only for field players.

The program is led by Benno Nagel, a former professional coach and soccer entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience working in advanced youth development and professional environments, including Dinamo Zagreb Academy (Croatia) and Rayo OKC of the North American Soccer League.

Throughout his career, Benno has worked across elite youth, collegiate, and professional settings, contributing to the development of numerous players who have gone on to compete at the collegiate, professional, and international levels. He has worked with nearly 40 national team players across youth and senior levels, including several who have competed in FIFA World Cup competitions.

Benno’s approach combines professional standards, individualized mentorship, and structured accountability to help players gain clarity in their development pathway.

During this pilot phase of the Individual Development Program (IDP), Benno will work directly with all participating players to ensure a high level of oversight and program quality. To ensure alignment with each player’s team environment, he will also connect with the coaches of every enrolled player. This collaboration allows for shared insight into each player’s development trajectory and ensures the individual work done through IDP complements and reinforces the training players receive within their team setting.

The goal is to create a clear bridge between individual development and team performance, helping players maximize both environments as they progress in their soccer journey.
